Custom Divers Sportster Wing

Designed specifically for sport diving, the Sportster Wing was created following divers demands.  Although there are a number of sport wings available, we found we were regularly being asked by our customers to design an alternative.  Divers told us they wanted a high quality, rugged yet lightweight (3.4 kilos), fully adjustable wing for single tank diving, that would be equally at home being dived in UK seas or abroad in blue waters. 

The lack of luggage allowance continues to be a major factor for the travelling diver.  One trend we’ve observed is that today more divers are tending to take their young families away to diving destinations.  Whilst one person has a dry day with the family, the other is off diving, and roles are swapped the following morning.  With luggage allowance at a premium, the Sportster Wing is the perfect solution to carrying less equipment, as the Comfort Harness System is fully adjustable, and can happily accommodate all shapes and sizes, and both the male and female form.  Additionally this ‘one size fully adjustable system’ has proved popular with introducing children to scuba, because it is so quick and simple to ensure the correct fit (by changing the shoulder harness), making the Sportster a true Marmite BCD.  ‘The growing wing you never grow out of’.
