Anglesey Diver Airlifted to Hospital

School boy injured in Diving trip on the Menai Strait.

The boy, 1 of 20 from King Edwards School in Bath was in an inflatable rigid boat when it turned over on the Mussel Bank on the Caerarfon Bar, Anglesey.

The boy was airlifted to Ysbyty Gwynedd hospital by the Llandwrog Coastguard Rescue Team and the inshore lifeboat from Beaumaris
and is been treated for Hypothermia and a head wound.

Conditions ar Caernarfon Bar were quite rough when the accident happened whilst
diving with Three instructors from Plas Menai National Watersports Centre, The capsized boat still has not been found.
