This is part of the Noh Och Chich Cave system, it is a very popular scuba diving site as it offers one of the best and longest cavern dives in the area.

You travel through jungle vegetation to get to the site, which is quite isolated. Once kitted up, there is just a short walk down some steps to reach the entrance point.

Dos Ojos, literally translated as Two Eyes, comes from the two closely located circular centotes that make up the site. The Barbie Cave is usually the first dive, which takes the scuba diver along the opening of the cenote, has plenty of daylight, plus lots of stalactites, stalagmites and columns to swim around.

The second dive is into the Bat Cave, which is an air filled cave full of fascinating decoration and, of course, bats. This cave is darker as there is daylight only at the entrance.

Both Dives are in fresh water and with an average dive time of about 40 mins.
