Access to the site is pretty easy as there is a cement path from the parking area and a platform to get into the water.
The Taj Mahal is a must do dive, consisting of a 200ft journey through four different cenotes, finishing at the Cenote Sugarbowl. The airspace is large, with lots of differing light zones, from dark to dazzling, which is fascinating.
Also, at the meeting point between fresh and salt water there is a halocline induced mirror like effect .The site has lots of decoration from stalactites and stalagmites. There are also many fossils from shell and coral here.
