Medium to strong currents can occur.

Also known as the Green Wall, this dive should not be missed out during a visit to Playa Del Carmen. Access is by day boat.

On diving in at the southern end of the reef, Pared Verde initially has smaller wall sections which are split by sloping hills of sand.... but on advancing further north is the main longer strecth of wall, which  has spectacular coral formation with lots of small and large marine life. Also, further along on a plateau at the top of the reef is a cavern with a chimney.

Expect to see: spiny lobsters, king crabs, turtles, sting rays and sharks.
