The Blue hole (Gozo)
Cavern Dive Site

Dive Type: An amazing dive
THe Blue Hole is exactly that; a hole in the rock of the shore. It descends to about 10-15 metres to a clear sandy floor. Heading inland is a cave about 6m tall and 10ish metres deep. If you head in the direction of the sea there is a short tunnel that then opens out underneath the Azure Window and onto a sea wall which drops away to 40+metres. there is a great system of tunnel caves that connect up to an inland area of around 5m depth called the Cactus Garden. which is a fantastic area with lots of growth and wild life
Visibility: amazing 20-30m+ easily
Depth: 10-60 metres
Marine Life: corals, various fishes some morays hiding around there some tuna
Opening Times: there is a 'shop' there and a form of car park, will be open during daylight hours, thats the best I can remember at the moment
Cost: No dive fees directly, minor parking fees
Address
Dwejra Point
Gharb
Directions
Take the ferry from Malta to Mgarr Harbour on Gozo. Drive west to Victoria(Rabat), and then after that head North West to Ghasri and then near Il-Wilga turn South West towards the Inland Sea. My biggest tip - Buy a map - The Azure Window and Inland Sea are marked on all of them

Did the Blue hole, Azure window in July. Nice dive. The entry was a mountain walk but done easily enough... the Inland sea was my favoured choice.... Pics attached
